What a fantastic turn out for Old Boys day.
Despite the poor weather, 36 former players, volunteers and their partners turned up at the home base Rabjones
clubhouse to catch up, reminisce and have a good laugh.Old stories were rehashed, fifty runs was somehow turned into a hundred and a regulation catch had become a one handed screamer diving 3 metres to the right.
But most importantly Old Boys day gives the opportunity to connect with former teammates, the current players and of course the great game of cricket .
Declan Brooks was the deserved winner of the Old Boys achievement award for his efforts on and off the field in the last 12 months at Murwillumbah Cricket Club
